Maine Wedding Guide
Tucked away in the furthest point east that you can possibly go in the U.S., Maine is home to some of the most beautifully stunning landscapes you will ever witness. In winter you can take in the gorgeous snow capped fields and in summer you can take in the fresh air and coast cottage style architecture that lends itself to that gorgeous countryside charm. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of bed and breakfasts from one side of the state to the other. Whether it's a quiet stay at Moosehead Lake, the fresh sea air of Portland, the vast landscape of Aroostook, the dazzling snow capped Maine Highlands, or the wide variety of beachscapes, Maine has a lot to offer the wide variety of tastes of most brides.
The biggest positive with Maine weddings is the scrumptious selection of world renowned dishes like Maine lobster respected the world over. The seafood is as fresh as it gets and is an industry all its own. In the fall, Maine has the most beautiful changing leaves and scenery per capita of pretty much anywhere in the continental United States. That New England feel resounds everywhere and you can't throw a rock without hitting a beautiful brick faced home with wrap around porches. So don't throw rocks.
